Penny Went Educational Scholarship

Live up to her dream and yours!
Penny Went (1958-2004) had a dream. She was to graduate from Graduate Diploma in Language Teaching. She never reached it, but her dream now lives through this scholarship.

Her dream led to the establishment of this scholarship as a result of the donations in memory of Penny Went last year. More donations are necessary to grow the educational scholarship fund to an adequate level so NZSLTA can give a grant to a tutor every year.

Scholarship applications will start this year. Criteria and additional information will be announced and posted on this website.

How can you support the growth of this scholarship and honour the memory of Penny Went?
